Isheta Kulshreshtha
Founder & Executive Director
Isheta is incredibly excited to further Leveled Legislation's goals to advance youth civic engagement and promote women's rights under the law with this extraordinary team. Deeply inspired and motivated by her grandfather's initiative with girls' education, Isheta's advocacy is rooted in providing an equitable future for all young girls. Outside of LL, Isheta is a huge fan of dance, trying new foods, and traveling!
Keya Mahajan
Co-Director of Education
Keya joined Leveled Legislation to enact tangible change for women. Many organizations advocate for female empowerment but Leveled Legislation attempts to promote equality through policy advocacy and interaction with government/legislature. Keya is extremely passionate about empowering people, especially youth, to participate in civic action in order to change the status quo. LL gives her the opportunity to work with a team of fierce women that have dedicated themselves to fighting for womens’ rights and she is so honored to be the Co-Director of Education!
Maira Elahi
Co-Director of Education
Maira Elahi is an International Baccalaureate high school student from Canada, passionate about serving her community and fellow students. Her passions lie in all things tech and its cross-disciplinary intersections with other fields. At Leveled Legislation, she intends to continue to uphold her values of serving her community on a global scale, and contribute willfully to the campaign to bring about long-lasting and meaningful change.
Megha Hegde
Director of Marketing
Megha, a junior in high school, has an interest in business and government. She joined Leveled Legislation to raise awareness about how the fight for women's rights is far from over.
Jackie Wang
Editor-in-Chief
Jackie is a senior in high school in Potomac, Maryland in the United States. She is extraordinarily passionate about writing, specifically regarding the intersections of business and public policy in order to best help solve the problems of tomorrow. As a leader in her community, Jackie is extremely driven to motivate others, especially her peers, to fight for what they believe in and fight for a world where sounds of equality rings true throughout the globe. In her free time, Jackie loves to hang out with her friends and learn about art cultures around the world.
Desiree Lawrence
Co-Director of Policy
Desiree, a senior in high school, is from New Jersey. Desiree joined Leveled Legislation to further her passion for feminist policy.
Caroline Martin
Community & Onboarding Manager
Caroline Martin is the policy co-director of Leveled Legislation. She is a high school senior from Akron, Ohio USA. An active participant and leader in her school community, Caroline is an advocate for environmental and human rights and believes that student involvement in social activism is a necessity for both youth and their communities. Her favorite part of being in LL is engaging with individuals who are just as committed to women’s rights as she is.
Naima Ellis-Daniels
Co-Director of Policy
Naima Ellis-Daniels is the Co-Director of Policy at Leveled Legislation. Naima is a rising junior at Padua Academy in Wilmington, Delaware. Her passions include policy, business, leadership, and international politics! Naima was a student council and Black Student Union officer at her school during the 2022-23 school year, also developing mental health and wellness blog called AfterGLOW. Naima hopes to continue pursuing her passion for advocacy through her work with Leveled Legislation and make a positive impact within both her community and our world!
Lakshnyaa Sudhakar
Director of Chapter Coordiantion
My name is Lakshanyaa Rajkumar Sudhakar, and I am a high school senior in Iowa. As a youth advocate, one of my main passions is advocating for women’s rights. I started a Girls Who Code club at my school in order to support more young women pursuing computer science. I currently serve as the Director of Chapter Coordination for Leveled Legislation where I help initiate and coordinate chapters across the U.S. My main interests are STEM, writing, business, and advocacy.
