Women in STEM Workshop w/ Life Sculptor

In collaboration with Life Sculptor, we hosted the "Women in STEM" workshop to teach youth about the importance of gender diversity in STEM fields. We also empowered the voices of girls from Lebanon, a developing country, on the call through open discussion of modern day stereotypes, bias, confidence lack, male-dominated culture, and societal role models. The workshop was rooted in a call to action, motivating all attendees to push for policies that ensure professional development programs for teachers, mandate implementation of open-ended and co-created curricula, and guarantee expansion of STEM activities for young girls.
